Everything a self-serve customer needs to know about paying for Fulcrix. Prices and full terms are on the pricing page and in the Terms of Use; this page is the plain-language summary.
Fulcrix is priced per lab, not per seat — reviewer, advisor, and consultant seats are free, so everyone who helps you decide can sign in.
- Single lab — $1,200/month, billed monthly. Unlimited seats, $25/month of AI compute included.
AI compute is metered but capped — when you reach your included allowance, AI features pause until you ask us to raise it. Nothing is charged automatically, and if that ever changes we tell you in advance.
New subscriptions begin with a 14-day free trial. No card is required to start. We email you before the trial ends, and nothing is charged without that advance notice — if no payment method is on file when the trial ends, your subscription pauses rather than charges. You can cancel any time before it converts.
Create your account, open your lab, and choose Start subscription (Settings → Billing, or the activation screen). Checkout runs on Stripe; your card details go to Stripe, never to us.
Full price is what everyone pays. The first 3–5 labs can join as Founding Labs: a rate locked for 12 months and a direct hand in the roadmap, in exchange for candid feedback and — if it goes well — a case study. It reverts to list at your own month-13 renewal. It is request-based (full price needs none of it): choose Become a Founding Lab and we'll follow up within two business days.
You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing (the Stripe customer portal), which also lets you update your card. Cancelling stops future billing at the end of the current period; your lab and every model in it stay put and remain recoverable.
Fees are non-refundable except as required by law (Terms of Use §10) — Fulcrix is cancel-anytime, so you control future charges rather than paying ahead. If we issue a full refund, or a charge is disputed (charged back), access to the paid workspace is suspended (your subscription is set to canceled). Nothing is deleted — your workspace stays recoverable for 90 days, and you can export your data at any time. You should always keep your own exported copies of anything you rely on (the Terms say the same).
